Philadelphia-based journalist/activist Nathan James is a freelance writer for the LGBTQ community, with a particular focus on the LGBTQ community of color. He has contributed to NBC Out, The Hollywood Digest, DBQ (David Bridgeforth Quarterly) Magazine, GBM News, Buzzfeed, and Medium.com. Nathan is the V.P. of LGBTQ Affairs for My Brothers House, an independent, not-for-profit residential housing and counseling facility group dedicated to the veterans of America’s fighting forces. Nathan recently wrote the Foreword for his friend Dwight Allen O’Neal’s new book Shoulda! Coulda! Woulda! which is on Amazon.com.
